⁃ Originally from Southern CA and now resides in Spring Lake, MI
⁃ Went to Riverside Poly HS in Riverside, CA. Named to 1st team all CIF CA.
⁃ Played at Orange Coast College under the legendary John Altobelli. Named OCC male athlete of the year and all time single season record for hits with 76.
⁃ Drafted in 2002 in the 5th round by the Kansas City Royals
⁃ Played professionally for 14 seasons with 5 of those seasons in the major leagues. Was drafted in the 5th round in 2002 by the KC Royals. Also played for Oakland, Miami, Chicago (NL), Texas, Cincinnati, Atlanta and Milwaukee.
⁃ In 335 major league games he had 33 HRs and 119 RBIs. Played all INF positions throughout his professional career.
⁃ After retiring in 2015 started coaching with the Toronto Blue Jays in 2016. Was a hitting coach for 4 years which included working with major leaguers Bo Bichette (2017) and Vlad Guerrero Jr (2017) in Lansing. In 2020 transitioned into managing for 4 years, bench coach in AAA in 2024 and currently is the minor league infield coordinator for the Blue Jays.
