Fruitport High School
A graduate of Fruitport High School, Kevin played four years of varsity baseball and developed his foundation as a player in the local baseball community.
Four Years of College Baseball
Kevin continued his playing career as a pitcher, making stops at Muskegon Community College, Seward County, Grand Valley State, and the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma.
College Coaching
Following his playing career, Kevin spent a year as a pitching coach at the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma, beginning his next chapter in player development.
Youth & High School Development
Kevin started his own youth travel organization for players ages 8–15 before joining the Louisiana Knights organization, where he became youth pitching director and high school program assistant coach.
He Understands the Pitcher's Journey
Kevin's interest in velocity and arm care comes from his own experience as a pitcher. After reaching 94 mph in high school while training under Ron Wolforth, he worked to rebuild his velocity into the low 90s at Top Velocity following an injury.
With more than a decade of coaching experience, Kevin has helped pitchers work toward higher velocity through structured training and a focus on mechanics and development. His personal experience helps inform the way he approaches the challenges pitchers face.
